John Terpstra is a Hamilton poet who has won and been short-listed for a number of awards, for both poetry and creative non-fiction. His latest book of poetry is "Mischief" (Gaspereau Press). "Daylighting Chedoke" (Wolsak & Wynn), a non-fiction (poetic) exploration of a creek hidden under the streets of Hamilton, is scheduled for release in Fall 2018. He spends his off-hours working as a carpenter and cabinetmaker.
Margaret Christakos has published nine collections of poetry, a novel and a creative memoir. Last year A Selected of her poetry was published by WLU Press, titled Space Between Her Lips. This fall Margaret is in residence at University College at U of T and teaching creative writing parttime at Ryerson.
